Dear Telenav iPhone customers,
I am pleased to report to you today that the issue that impacted some of our iPhone 4S and iPad customers is now resolved. We have posted an update in the AppStore that fixes all of the issues for our Telenav customers. Please download this update when you have a chance.
Thirteen years ago, we began the process of building GPS navigation for mobile devices. That early effort and continuing commitment has allowed us to build one of the best mobile navigation solutions on the planet. Over that time, we have developed a strong relationship with each of you by creating quality products that make it easier to get to the people and places you love. This relationship with you is very important to us. That is why, when one of our recently released products did not achieve our own expectations for some of our iPhone 4S and iPad customers, we took this matter extremely seriously.
Our team worked around the clock to determine the issue and we were able to submit this to Apple within a matter of days. We then worked with Apple to provide whatever they needed to test the application and ensure the issues were fixed.
For those customers who ran into problems, I understand your frustration. I learned how truly passionate our customers are about our products by listening to the many that voiced their opinions and shared their feedback – and I appreciate that.
Since the moment we started Telenav, our mission has always been to make people’s lives less stressful while on the go. For more than 13 years and for millions of customers, we have been able to do exactly that – create products we could be proud of! However, our most recent update clearly did not meet the standards we built the Telenav name upon and, from that, we will learn to do better with each and every product release.
I realize we have some trust to rebuild and relationships to mend and I promise you, we are fully dedicated to doing what it takes.
From here, we will learn from this and improve so we can prove to you once again, why you chose us.
