According to The Local, Swedish Brewery Company Spendrups, which owns the truck, said it had been stolen earlier in the day.
“During a delivery to the restaurant Caliente someone jumped into the driver’s cabin and drove off with the car while the driver unloads,” communications director Mårten Lyth told the TT news agency.
The Swedish Subway system (Tunnelbana) is currently open after being shut down due to the incident which forced thousands of persons to use buses or walk to final destinations during the day. Several persons have been reported to have injuries along with some casualities.
