SAN ANTONIO – The Houston Rockets were scorching hot against the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night nailing 22 for 50 behind the three-point arc, to go on to a 126-99 road victory in the Western Conference Semifinals.
Trevor Ariza led the Rockets with 23 points, while Clint Capela finished with 20 points and 13 rebounds and James Harden added 20 points and 14 rebounds. The Houston Rockets who led by as many as 39 points, including a 30-point lead in the first half, saw six of its players reach the double figures column in scoring – Ryan Anderson 14, Lou Williams 13, Eric Gordon 11.

Kawi Leonard scored 21 points for the host San Antonio Spurs. Tony Parker and Jonathon Simmons each had 11 for the Spurs.
Game 2 is Wednesday in San Antonio.
