STOCKHOLM – Grammy and Emmy winning comedian, actor, director, author and producer Chris Rock will take The Total Blackout Tour to Europe and Sweden! This is the comic’s first 9-year tour and it has started in the United States with amazing tribute from both the press and the audience.
On October 2, superstar Chris Rock will come to Ericsson Globe in Stockholm and then enter Scandinavium in Gothenburg on Friday, October 6th. Tickets for these hugely sought after shows will be released on Friday, May 12 at 9.00.
Chris Rock is one of our generation’s strongest comic voices, loved by both audiences and critics. As an actor, director, producer and writer, he has created memorable moments for almost 30 years.
With a career that spans more than three decades, Chris Rock has made success through various roles in both film and television. In 2014 he had the lead in the movie “Top Five”, a celebrated comedy that he also wrote and directed. In 2009, Chris Rock ventured into the documentary world as a scriptwriter and producer of “Good Hair”, and in 2014 he produced “Eat Drink Laugh: The Story of the Comic Strip”, a documentary that tells the story of one of New York’s most famous standup Clubs. He has played in films such as Grown Ups, Madagascar, Head of State, Nurse Betty, CB4, Death to a Funeral, I Think I Love My Wife, 2 days in New York “,” Dogma “,” New Jack City “and many more. His television work has included the role of producer, scriptwriter and narrator of the series” Everybody Hates Chris “, who ran between 2005-2009 and he Was also part of the standing ensemble on Saturday Night Live between 1989 and 1993. In summer, he is also reunited with Adam Sandler for the Netflix movie “The Week Of”.
