BOSTON, Massachusetts — Brad Stevens and the Boston Celtics extended their win streak at 10 as the league best defeated the LA Lakers 107 -96 on Wednesday night at TD Garden.
Kyrie Irving (Duke) finished with 19 points on 7-of-21 shooting to go along with six rebounds and five assists over 33 minutes. The Celtics Aron Baynes posted a career and season – high 21 points ( 8 rebounds, 3 assists) in 23 minutes of action.
Boston (10-2, 4-1 Home) has now held its opponent to less than 100 points in nine of the last 10 games.

The Los Angeles Lakers (5-6, 1-3 Away) saw six players reach double figures led by Brandom Ingram and Jordan Clarkson who both finished with 18 points each. Boston led by 20 in the second quarter before letting the lead dwindle to two in the third.
Marcus Morris added 18 points and second year guard from Louisville contributed 14 points from the bench.
The Lakers travel to Washington for a game on Thursday night. Boston will host the Hornets on Friday night
