OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma — Paul George netted a season -high 42 points to help Oklahoma City snap a four-game losing streak with a 120-111 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday night. It’s his highest total since joining the Thunder via trade from the Indiana Pacers before the start of the season. George made 13 of 22 shots and had nine rebounds and seven assists.
The Thunder shot 51.3 percent from the field and racked up 23 assist in Friday’s win at Chesapeake Energy Arena.
Russell Westbrook had 22 points and eight assists in the Thunder’s highest-scoring game of the season. Carmelo Anthony and Alex Abrines each scored 14 points.

Lou Williams led the Clippers with scored 35 points and Blake Griffin had 17 points on 5-for-19 shooting.
The Clippers take off for New Orleans on Saturday night.
OKC Thunder will host Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday night.
