NEW YORK, New York — The NFL announced its 2018 schedule for London on Thursday with the matchups, locations and potential dates for its U.K. series.Game times for each contest will be announced at a later date. The NFL releases the full 2018 schedule around mid-April.
“This is another important year as we develop our plans for London and the U.K.,” said Mark Weller, the NFL’s executive vice president of events and international. “By playing games on three consecutive weeks, we will learn a lot, both from the fans buying tickets and attending games, and from a logistics and organizational standpoint.”
Seattle Seahawks vs. Oakland Raiders, Tottenham stadium, Oct. 14.
Philadelphia Eagles vs. Jacksonville Jaguars, Wembley Stadium, Oct. 21 or 28.
Tennessee Titans vs. Los Angeles Chargers, Wembley Stadium, Oct. 21 or 28.
The series will begin in Week 6 with a Seahawks-Oakland Raiders game at the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium.In the following two weeks, the Eagles will play the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Titans will play the Los Angeles Chargers, both at Wembley Stadium.
Four of the eight teams that played in London in 2017 went on to win their respective divisions: New Orleans Saints, Minnesota Vikings, Los Angeles Rams and Jacksonville Jaguars. Each won their overseas tilt. The three winners in 2018 hope to repeat that success on their way to a playoff bid next season.
