LONDON, England — The Boston Celtics battled back from a 22 point – deficit to beat the tPhiladelphia 76ers on Thursday night 114-103.
Kyrie Irving had 20 points, seven assists and six rebounds for Boston – who is on a seven game winning streak. During a key stretch during the second quarter the Celtics held the 76ers without a basket for the final 4:37 to cut the lead at the half down to just nine points at
“We just made adjustments, cut it down to nine at halftime, picked up our pace,” Irving explained. “The last five minutes, four minutes in the second quarter, we just did a great job of taking it possession by possession, and guys’ legs started gearing back up.”
Jaylen Brown added 21 points, and Marcus Morris had 19 points and eight rebounds for the Celtics.

JJ Redick had 22 points and hit five 3-pointers for Philadelphia. Joel Embiid had 16 points, and second year rookie Ben Simmons added 15 for the 76ers.
