ATLANTA, Georgia — Dewayne Dedmon matched his career high with 20 points and had 13 rebounds, lifting the Atlanta Hawks to a 118-115 win over the Pistons on Sunday.
Dennis Schroder had 23 points, 7 assists and 2 steals for the Hawks – including six key free throws in the final 20 seconds.
However, it was Dedmon who gave Atlanta the lead with a three-point play, shortly followed with a 3-pointer, lifting the Hawks to its 18th victory for the season.
“Big shot,” said Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer, who said Dedmon “gave us a lot of good things.”
The Hawks will face the Bucks on Tuesday.

Andre Drummond, who had 25 points and 15 rebounds for Detroit (27-28) and Blake Griffin had 23 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Reggie Bullock added 20 points for the Pistons who will play New Orleans on Monday.
