FIRA GRAN VIA, Spain — Samsung will unveil its highly anticipated design for the all-new Galaxy S9 smartphone at the Mobile World Congress in Spain on Sunday.
The South Korean electronics giant is the headline exhibitor at the mobile industry’s annual signature event which pulls in over 108,000 attendees for the weekend.
The S9 is expected to be the Galaxy phone with some new features including an improved camera system. The new updated camera system will feature two f-stop modes, the category–defining Dual Aperture adapts to bright light and super low light automatically, like the human eye. The Dual Aperture supports F1.5 mode and F2.4 mode. Dual Aperture is installed on the rear camera (S9) /rear wide camera (S9+).
Super Slow-mo allows you to shoot videos incredible speed: 960 frames per second, thanks to the enhanced speed sensor. You can show off your directorial skills by adding Super Slow-mo bursts to a video, spotlighting incredible moments. Super Slow-mo only supports HD resolution. Limited to 20 shots per video with approximately 0.2 seconds of recording and 6 seconds of playback for each shot.
Add music to your video with a random selection from preloaded choices or use a song from your own playlist. You can also make it a GIF with three styles of looping: reverse, forward, or swing.
Intelligent Scan is a new technology for Galaxy S9 and S9+ that combines face recognition and iris scan to make unlocking simple even in low light.
