TORONTO, Canada — Young Money’s Drizzy Drake announced that his new album Scorpion is due in June.
He shared the news in two Instagram posts on Monday.
Drake recorded Scorpion in Toronto. Last month, he said that the album was also dedicated to his hometown. “I’m working on this new album for the city,” he told fans during Drake Night at Air Canada Centre.
Scorpion will be Drake’s first full-length album since 2016’s Views. Drake currently has two No. 1 singles off the album. “God’s Plan” topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 11 weeks and the Lauryn Hill-sampled follow-up “Nice for What” just landed at the No. 1 spot.
