LOS ANGELES, California — LA Galaxy star Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored the 500th goal of his career for club and country on Saturday night.
The Swedish striker converted on a goal (roundhouse kick) on the volley from Jonathan dos Santos’ pass in the 43rd minute to reach the milestone.
“Obviously it’s not good to lose … but I’m happy for Toronto because they’ll be remembered as my 500th victim,” Ibrahimovic told TSN after the game.
