STOCKHOLM, Sweden — Swedish Parliament Speaker, Andreas Norlén, intends to submit a proposal for Moderate Leader Ulf Kristersson to become the Prime Minister on November 12th.
“In the light of the talks I have had with the party leaders, it is my opinion that it is now time to go to the House with a proposal for Prime Minister. Ulf Kristersson represents the larger of the two groups who voted no to the Prime Minister on September 25th and there is a logic in trying to test him in the Chamber,” says Andreas Norlén.
The Speaker has urged Ulf Kristersson (M) to return, before November 12, to the announcement of the proposed government’s party composition.
The proposal for Prime Minister is presented for the first time on November 12, followed by a second meeting on November 13, and it is probably being investigated by the Riksdag on November 14, according to the Parliament Speakers announcement today.
