DETROIT, Michigan — Blake Griffin recorded 32 points and 11 rebounds to bring home a 98-93 win for the Detroit Pistons (20-24) over the Miami Heat (21-22) on Friday night at Little Caesars Arena.
“We’ve got to stop dropping our shoulders, dropping our head, or letting whatever is bothering us, bother us,” said Casey, in his first season as Detroit’s coach. “Whether it’s officials — whatever it is, we’ve got to get to the next play, and we’re going to be a better team for it.”
Luke Kennard scored 22 points for the Detroit Pistons, and Reggie Bullock added 19.

Andre Drummond exited the game with a nasal injury after being hit in the face in the first quarter by the arm of Miami’s James Johnson.
Zaza Pachulia played a season-high 28 minutes and grabbed nine rebounds, including four off the offensive glass, to go with two assists and two steals in Drummonds absence.
The Pistons will host the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night.
Dwyane Wade scored 20 points, 8 assists and 4 rebounds for the Miami Heat.
The Heat will visit the Chicago Bulls on Saturday night.
