SYDNEY, Australia — Naomi Osaka claimed her second straight Grand Slam victory defeating Petra Kvitova 7-6 (2), 5-7, 6-4 on Saturday to win the Australian Open earning herself back-to-back titles.
She beomes the first tennis player from Japan to reach No. 1 in the rankings.
Naomi captuted her first slam title against Serena Williams at the US Open last year.
