ATLANTA, Georgia — The Brooklyn Nets earned their thrid straight win after defeating the Atlanta Hawks 114-112 on the road Saturday night.
“We had a ton of open looks in the first half and couldn’t convert them, and in the second half it was more of the free throws,” Nets coach Kenny Atkinson said. “Something happened there. I’m not sure what.”
All five Nets starters finished in double figures.
Spencer Dinwiddie led the Nets with 23 points and seven assists, while Jarrett Allen had 20 points and 12 rebounds.
D’Angelo Russell had 18 points and six assists, Rodions Kurucs had 16 points and six rebounds, Joe Harris had 11 points and Allen Crabbe had 10.
DeMarre Carroll finished with 13 points and five rebounds off the bench.
The Nets will host Detroit on Monday.

John Collins finished with 33 points and a career-high 20 rebounds for Atlanta. Trae Young became the first rookie in Atlanta history to have a triple-double, with 23 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds.
The Hawks will host New Orleans on Sunday.
