STOCKHOLM, Sweden — Richard Forsshéll takes over as new VD of the restaurant chain Pizza Hut. He is coming most recently as retail consultant in-house, and before that from Tiger of Sweden where he worked as Global Retail Director.
Richard Forsshéll succeeds Björn Källström who after 15 years leaves his assignment as CEO. Richard Forsshéll has extensive experience in management and concept development in both convenience stores and e-commerce.
At Tiger of Sweden, he had overall responsibility for sales, purchasing, establishments within retail and responsible for franchising and development of store concepts. Before Tiger of Sweden he worked for ten years in senior positions at 7-Eleven, Reitan Servicehandel Sweden.
“Pizza Hut is a strong brand with enormous potential and for me it feels great to get work with fast-moving and service again. My mission is to continue to make prudent establishments for the company, try new ideas and grow at a stable pace. I look forward to leading this trip together with all employees at Pizza Hut,” says Richard Forsshéll.
The search for a new VD has been going on since the turn of the year after the current CEO Björn Källström informed the owners that he wanted to quit.
