NEW YORK, New York — Robyn Fenty, better known to the world as music icon Rihanna, opened up in an penned interview with T magazine’s Jeremy O. Harris on the launch of her Fenty fashion brand with LVMH, music and more.
The 31-year-old made history by becoming the first black woman in charge of a major luxury fashion house in Paris.
“I will not back down from being a woman, from being black, from having an opinion,” said Rihanna to T Magazine. ” I’m running a company and that’s exactly what I came here to do.
Her collection, will make its debut in Paris on May 24 and be available online on May 29.

The Grammy award winning recording artist has also been working on her long awaited album away from building her fashion brand and philanthropic endeavors.
“I’m about to call it that probably, ’cause they have haunted me with this ‘R9, R9, when is R9 coming out?’” she laughed. “How will I accept another name after that’s been burned into my skull?”
Her new album will be a Reggae/Dancehall album.
