STOCKHOLM, Sweden — The Tim Bergling Foundation, founded by Tim “Avicii” Bergling’s family after his passing away last year, is hosting a unique concert featuring Avicii’s music to commemorate Tim’s life, music and memory.
For the first time, Avicii’s biggest songs will be performed by the original artists and a 30-man band during a large-format live concert. In addition to the live band, a number of well-known DJs and friends of Avicii will also participate.
Tickets will now be released on Thursday, September 5 at 10 am via Ticketmaster.se
“Tim had plans for his music to be performed together with a large live band. Now we are realizing his dream and giving the audience and listeners a chance to experience Tim’s songs in a truly unique way, ”says Klas Bergling.
About the concert:
The evening is divided into two different parts starting with the DJ set of close friends of Avicii such as David Guetta, Kygo, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Nicky Romero and Laidback Luke. And then followed by a unique two-hour live concert.
During the live concert, the original artists who have participated in Avicii’s greatest songs – artists such as Aloe Blacc, Rita Ora, Adam Lambert and Sandro Cavazza, etc. – will perform Avicii’s original songs together with a 30-man band.
Tickets will be released via Ticketmaster on Thursday, September 5 at 10am. This is a nonprofit concert – all ticket proceeds go to charitable causes in mental illness and suicide prevention.
