LOS ANGELES, California — The Los Angeles improved to 43-13 on Friday night at the Staples Centee, defeating the NBA best Milwaukee Bucks 113-103.
LeBron James had a game-high 37 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for the Lakers. He joined James Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Karl Malone as the only players to hit the 34,000 point mark.
Anthony Davis finished with 30 points and 9 rebounds as the Lakers picked up its 10th win in its last 11 games.
The Lakers used a 18-0 run in the third to help clinchl a playoff birth.

Giannis Antetokounmpo had 32 points and 12 rebounds for the Bucks (53-10).
The Lakers will face off against the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday at the Staples Center.
Milwaukee Bucks will take on the Phoenix Suns on Sunday.
