LOS ANGELES, California — The Washington Wizards win their fifth straight game in an 127-124 overtime victory against the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday night at the Staples Center.
Bradley Beal (33 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals) and Russell Westbrook (32 points, 14 rebounds, 9 assists) combined for 65 points for the Wizards, who rallied from a 17-point deficit in the second half.

Lebron James had 31 points, 13 assists and nine rebounds for the Lakers, who suffered its fourth loss in five games. Montrezl Harrell poured in a season-high 26 points and nine rebounds. Kentaviou Caldwell-Pope finished with 21 points and Kyle Kuzma added 14 points.
The Lakers are without All-NBA bigman Anthony Davis who missed his fourth straight game, and is out for at least three more weeks with a calf injury. Point guard Dennis Schröder will miss at least one more game under the NBA’s health and safety protocols.
Washington Wizards: look to capture their sixth straight win against the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday.
The Los Angeles Lakers: travel to face a red hot Quinn Snyder and the Utah Jazz on Wednesday.
