DENVER, Colorado — The Denver Nuggets and Aaron Gordon reached an agreement on a four-year, $92 million extension. The extension will keep Gordon under contract through the 2025-26 season, with a player option on the final year.
The 26-year-old Gordon, arrived in Orlando just before the March deadline via trade. He played in 25 games for Denver last season after being traded from the Orlando Magic at the trade deadline in March. Gordon averaged 10.2 points on a career-high 50% shooting from the field and 4.7 rebounds.
During the 2021 playoffs, Gordon (Arizona Wildcats) who has played eight seasons in the NBA, played a key role in the Nuggets advancing past the Portland Trailblazers in the first round, before facing elimination by the Phoenix Suns.
