Breakthrough Atlantic recording artist, Netta Brielle kicked-off June’s show with a rock-style performance, opening with a cover of Mint Condition’s Pretty Brown Eyes. Netta closed out her set strong, performing her new single, More to a Kiss.

Songstress Mathai came and dominated the stage, singing an eclectic intro including a mix of The Eurhythmics Sweet Dreams transitioning to Jay-Z‘s hit Empire State of Mind, and finishing with Sweet Dreams, by the Eurhythmics. Mathai then performed her new single,Girl like Me, from her upcoming EP, Girl like Me, scheduled to drop on Independence Day, July 4th. Changing the pace of the show, she transitioned to a rendition of Pusher Love Girl, from Justin Timberlake and closed her set with Inside Out, a classic single from her debut album from earlier this year, Once Again.

Closing out the show was Grammy Award winning artist and songwriter, The Tony Rich Project, who opened with his popular single Like Me. Tony continued to thrill the crowd with his platinum hit single “Nobody Knows” and wrapped his performance with his latest single, “Speak Me,” which is off his album Speak Me, which is due summer 2013.

Lifestyle specialist Kenny Burns kept the crowd alive and on their feet alongside of DJ Trauma and the Teddy White Band. Guests enjoyed cocktails and dinner inside of the ambient venue of Park Tavern.

LONDON – The Land Rover Discovery has escaped from the shadow of its Range Rover sibling to become a genuine modern classic.

The Land Rover Discovery 3.0 TDV6 XS - RS300"

Launched in 1989 with a view to becoming a key player in the market for stylish, off-road vehicles, it has carved its own market segment and become an international success story.

With the market was dominated by a wealth of models, A. Kahn Design had a great challenge ahead: to produce an excellent example of UK design, engineering and manufacturing.

Marking a gradual progression as opposed to a revolution and shrouded in voluptuous diamond pearl white couture, the Kahn styling package is rather tasteful to say the least.

An RS front grille with 3D mesh, RS pair of vented front and rear air dams, door entry sill plates in stainless steel, exterior Kahn enamel tailgate logo, door entry sill plates in stainless steel, front wheel arch LED light strips, Kahn enamel wing shields, 9.5 x 22” RS600 wheels and privacy tinted glass ensure a great deal of motoring supremacy.

The interior of the RS300 Kahn Discovery is upholstered in an exceedingly fine material. Worked through a rigorous process that accentuates the natural look and smoothness of quilted and perforated leather, the front and rear seats (7 in total) are a joy to behold.

A diamond quilted glove box with contrast stitching and four door armrest stitching highlights the British craftsmanship found in the interior of the Discovery.

Additional interior harmonisation applied by experienced specialists – include a coloured rev counter dial, floor mats, time clock facia insert, vented foot pedals in machined aluminium and a red enamel Kahn keyring.

As expected, the Discovery can also be ordered in every imaginable colour. If you, for example, want a car with a full colour change (of your choice) and an interior akin to, let’s say your favourite leather reclining chair in your living room, we will be more than happy to oblige.

Furthermore, the LR60 VER number plate certaonly does not look out of place. It is one of many cherished number plates that sit proudly alongside 180, 4 HRH and the prestigious F1 number plate.

To view the entire collection, click here: [ www.kahndesign.com ]

A. Kahn Design is for the individual who will not submit to a life of uniformity and who will only accept perfection. Dedicated to the creation of luxury bespoke vehicles, we redesign the ordered monotony of mass produced vehicles and rebuild them into individually tailored creations.

President of Basketball Operations Joe Dumars announced today.

“We’re pleased to welcome Maurice Cheeks to the Pistons organization,” Detroit Pistons President of Basketball Operations Dumars said.

Prior to his head coaching stints, Cheeks spent seven seasons as an assistant coach with the 76ers serving under John Lucas (1994-96), Johnny Davis (1996-97) and former Pistons’ head coach Larry Brown (1997-2001). As a member of Philadelphia’s 2000-01 staff under Brown, he helped guide the club to a 56-26 (.683) record and a spot in the NBA Finals. Cheeks began his coaching career with the Quad City Thunder of the Continental Basketball Association. During his only season with Quad City (1993-94), he helped guide the club to the CBA Championship.

“The leadership“ and “Player development qualities he brings as a former player and coach blends nicely with the roster we are building for the future” and “He’s won an NBA championship, coached in two NBA Finals as an assistant coach,” Detroit Pistons President of Basketball Operations Dumars said.

Cheeks brings more than 30-plus years of NBA experience to the job and becomes the 29th head coach in Detroit franchise history. He will be formally introduced to the Detroit media later this week.

“After spending some time with Maurice, I was very impressed not only with his basketball knowledge but his communication” and “Leadership skills,” said Pistons owner Tom Gores.

Cheeks joins the Pistons after serving four years as an assistant coach with Oklahoma City, where he helped guide the Thunder to a 212-100 (.707) record, four playoff appearances and an NBA Finals appearance in 2012.

“We are very excited to have someone of his experience“and “Talent help take this franchise into the future,” said Pistons owner Tom Gores.

Cheeks was named head coach of the Philadelphia 76ers in 2005 and led the Sixers to a 122-147 (.454) record in three-plus seasons. He led the team to the playoffs in 2008, marking the club’s first postseason appearance in three years. The 76ers were 12 games under .500 in early February that season and improved to 21-7 the remainder of the year to clinch a playoff berth. Cheeks owns a career record of 284-286 (.498) in 570 games as an NBA head coach.

A 15-year NBA veteran (11 with Philadelphia), Cheeks was a key member of the 76ers’ 1983 NBA Championship team.
