I have too admit that one of the most memorable highlight’s of the 2011 BET Awards show was not the performances, but ‘Real Husbands of Hollywood’.

The skits were not only funny but ‘different’ in a good way. It was not what I expected which made it very funny. Comparable to a Saturday Night Live skit.

Kevin Hart, Bobby Brown, Nick Cannon, Jermaine Dupri and Nelly played the character’s in the 3-part skit, that was a spoof of reality shows like “Real Housewives of Atlanta” and “Basketball Wives”. ‘Basketball Wives’ star Tami Roman made a guest appearance as Kevin Hart’s girlfriend.

Fast forward 6 months later and looks like we’ll be seeing that hit the airwaves soon. Word is that Gloria is officially working on her spinoff (Produced by Shaunie of course, I like her business savvy) But that’s not even the best part of the spinoff.

Gloria’s older sister and Gilbert Arena’s kid’s mom Laura Govan is also expected to be on the show.

Earlier this year, Laura Govan’s fiance Gilbert Arenas pulled a disappearing act on Laura and his three kids after being traded to the Orlando Magic. No goodbye or anything. She later shipped everything in their Virginia home to California using his credit card and had him served child support papers during half time of a game as he walked off the court.

Laura is about to have her fourth child by Gilbert Arenas and her sister Gloria hosted a baby shower for her a few weeks ago which may have been documented for the upcoming show. Shaunie O’Neal hasn’t confirmed this information, however, in our recent interview with Shaunie, she did mention that Gloria Govan is filming another show of hers.

Yeah, I guess there’s not much to say after that. Is this the secret project Jackie Christie is working on? Woooowwww that could be “A lot.”For the record, Matt Barnes has stated he is absolutely exercising his option to return to the team next season.

Let’s hope they can get the CBA worked out.

Called Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business, the programme premiered in South Africa on Vuzu last night amid rave reviews across the globe.

The R&B singer Brandy is also on the search for the next big star after launching a talent agency in California.

The Boy Is Mine hit-maker has teamed up with her singer brother Ray J and parents Willie and Sonja Norwood to start up the Norwood Talent Agency Corporation, which officially opened earlier this month.

The Norwoods’ first client was six-year-old wannabe journalist Harmony Love Bailey, and they have now signed more than 60 actors to their roster.

A statement from the family firm reads: “We know how exhilarating and exciting the business of entertainment can be.

We are also familiar with the struggles, pain and disappointments too.

When you guide the careers of two children from child to adult stars, you learn to appreciate the good and the bad and to respect the process along with the journey.”

“Getting a license to do business as a talent agency in the State of California was a long and meandering road, but well worth the effort that it took to get here.

The eatery, which is located in the Monarch Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road, said Hilton would arrive at the red carpet, invite-only event at around midnight and stay for up to four hours.

Okku management declined to confirm whether Hilton would be staying at the Hotel during her visit.

Hilton shot to fame after starring in the MTV series ‘The Simple Life’ and visited Dubai in 2009 to film an Arabic version of her show ‘My New BFF’.

The airing of the show, which was filmed mainly in Dubai Festival City, was delayed for more than two years over payment disputes with law suits filed in both the UAE and California.

The series eventually aired on MTV in April this year and is due to broadcast on a number of international channels later this year.

It is not clear whether Hilton also plans to pursue separate business interests while in Dubai this week. Hilton has links to a number of stores in Dubai selling her own-name fashion label, which focuses largely on bags and accessories.

In 2008, it was reported Hilton was to lend her name to a set of towers in Dubai, as part of a $2m three-year deal with an Abu Dhabi-based developer.

We could tell someone got heavy handed with the photoshopping as soon as we looked at this. But it took us a second to realize exactly what they did.

Yikes. How difficult could it have been to get these seven broads into the same room for a picture?

Aside from the positions the “ladies” are sitting or standing in, there is one other difference from last year’s photo though.

The two actual wives we were introduced to at the beginning of last season – Kim Russell and Juli Ritchmond, who we barely saw on the show – are apparently no longer a part of the cast.

Suzi’s still hanging in there though. Despite all her on-camera griping, she still hasn’t managed to walk away from the paycheck the B.S. and drama.

As for the new girl…

This is Khameka Claxton, or Meeka, as she prefers to be called. She was the Gabrielle Union look-a-like we spotted with Evelyn and Jennifer at that polo championship last month.

Meeka is married to Speedy Claxton, former NBA player turned college scout for the Golden State Warriors.

And she’s actually someone you might almost respect: she’s a real estate agent, specializing in helping athletes and their families relocate when those trade papers get signed; editor-in-chief Elite Access Magazine, which is only made available to people within the NBA community.

They are shopping a reality series, tentatively titled “Que Viva”, that would feature Lopez and her husband, singer Marc Anthony, searching for undiscovered talent in Latin America.

Lopez has been developing the project for some time, and according to published reports, Fuller addressed the idea of teaming with her on the competition around the time that Simon Cowell approached Lopez about joining “X Factor”. She turned down the offer in favor of “American Idol”.

It’s unclear what the news, first reported by Entertainment Weekly, means for Lopez’s future on “Idol”. Her contract for the show, which she joined this season as a judge alongside Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler, is for only one season.

“I don’t know if I will do another season,” she said recently. “I’m taking it day by day at the moment, and we’ll see what happens.”

Fuller’s spokesman has not responded to a request for comment.
