Shannon Lanier Amongst, TNJ 40 Under Forty 2012 Honorees And Awards Recipient’s

NEW YORK – The Network Journal’s 40 Under-Forty Achievement Awards honors men and women under 40 years who have displayed the disciplines of hard work compounded over time, combined with professional accomplishments that have influenced an industry or profession, and who also have made significant contribution’s to their community.

The hosts for the prestigious event was broadcaster Roman Oben, former NY Giants & 2003 Super Bowl XXXVII Champion (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) and Karen Nethersole, ESQ., CEO of Full Circle NY.

Among the accomplished list of achiever’s is Kent State Alumni and McNair Scholar Shannon Lanier who appeared on WoodlawnPost.com for an interview. Shannon Lanier is currently a correspondent & senior producer for Black Enterprise Magazine’s nationally syndicated television programs. The journalist, reporter, producer and philanthropist was also a co-author of the Random House book, “Jefferson’s Children: The Story of One American Family”.

A “TNJ40Under-Forty” honoree is a successful owner/executive in the public and private business sector, reviewed by a committee of judges that make the final selection for the year’s honorees. Each honoree receives a specially designed crystal award at the annual “40 Under-Forty Achievement Awards” program, featured in the June “Awards” issue of the magazine.The 40 Under Forty Awards is a very popular program and the event is “SOLD OUT” every year.
