ATLANTA: ZOO Atlanta prepares for miniature stars & special friends to Rip the Runway RED

WHO: Show Me the Way Foundation in conjunction with African Pride Dream Kids Hair Care present the 2012 Runway RED Wonderland Safari Kids Fashion Show featuring celebrity kids. The children of hip hop’s king of the south T.I., the daughter of Young Money’s Lil Wayne, and the son of former heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield will walk the runway.

WHAT: The 2012 Runway RED invades ZOO Atlanta with live animal encounters and a Dream Kids VIP suite up close in the panda exhibit with Lun Lun and Yang Yang. The mini- celebs and children from the Atlanta community will rock the runway in high-end fashion designers in an effort to raise money for Show Me the Way Foundation. There will also be a special performance by 16 year-old vocal sensation Nia Holloway (Big Lo Entertainment) from the HUB Network show Majors and Minors, hosted by Brandy Norwood and Will I Am. Nia will be performing her new single, “Super Duper Fly.”

WHERE: ZOO Atlanta 800 Cherokee Avenue, S.E. Atlanta, GA 30315

WHY: The annual Runway RED fashion extravaganza benefits Show Me the Way Foundation’s efforts on HIV/AIDs research and awareness. Proceeds from the show fund the SHE and HOLLA Back programs of the Show Me the Way Foundation, which educate youth infected or affected with HIV/AIDs on the disease and the importance of abstinence.
