Dwyane Wade’s First Visit to Switzerland with Hublot

SWITZERLAND–

While in London to support his fellow countrymen in their quest for Olympic Gold, NBA superstar and Miami Heat guard,Dwyane Wade made his very first visit to Switzerland, at Hublot’s invitation.

Jean-Claude Biver, Chairman of Hublot, and Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO,  very proudly gave Wade a tour of Switzerland via Helicopter. He was able to see the  mountains and get his first glimpse of  the Cervin, the Jungfrau, the Eiger, and Mont-Blanc. Tuesday, August 14 Wade visited the Hublot Manufacture workshops in Nyon. Wade met with all the employees and watch makers to get a full understanding of  of how his watch – the King Power Dwyane Wade special series in titanium and ceramic – is made and how it works.

“I had a great time with the Hublot team and I was really impressed by the precision, the care and incredibly meticulous work of the watchmakers. It is an honor for me to be part of the very select list of the brand’s ambassadors and have the opportunity to attend the Hublot workshop in Switzerland,” said Dwyane Wade.
